I’m in a really cool group show at the Helms Bakery in Culver City November 21st to help inner city arts. It’s one night only: Saturday, November 21 from 5-11 PM. They are making 85 limited edition artist lamps. A rough mock up of my lamp is below. They are taking pre orders now or you can preview the show at www.enlightenshow.com. Hope to see you there.

I’ve recently come across some fans of my Luey character who had him tattooed on them. Check out the images below. The first on the ankle is Jason Willis tattooed by Skot Ives from Laughing Gremlin Tattoos in Wyoming. And the second on the shoulder is Javier from Argentina. Pretty cool.
And the reason I haven’t been updating this weekly anymore is below. There names are Sid and June born June 9th. Good times.

Here’s a few commissioned paintings I did. I have a good time painting these water scenes. The buyer wanted me to include R. Crumbs Mr. Natural which was fun turning him into a more 3 dimensional character.

And, I still haven’t caught that damn Raccoon. Here’s a chicken wired cover I’ve been putting over the pond and the trap I baited with bacon and hot dogs. I’m going to catch that bastard. Last time he ate the bait but didn’t trip the wire. I think we’re dealing with a huge Raccoon.

Here’s a commission I’m working on for my friend Nathan Ota. My concept here is, what if a cloud of thoughts hovered over everyone’s head. The toilet part is Nathan’s request.
Any drawings on the blog are for sale. E-mail me if your interested.

This years graduating senior illustrators really did an awesome job. Below is some of there work as well as some photos of the BBQ I threw in there honor. They will be very hard to top by next years seniors but you never know. Also, legendary Otis instructor Jim Auckland came back for to visit this years graduating class. It was really nice seeing Jim.

Went down to Hurley last Friday and had a blast taking photo’s with a blue Luey for my up coming Hurley release this June 15th. The photographer Beau took some funny shots. I was a bit out of my element but managed a few strange faces.
